Swedish Massage

A common relaxation treatment that uses Light to Medium pressure.

Myofascial Massage (Deep Tissue)

A medium to deep pressure treatment that works with specific muscles to lengthen, separate and spread tissue to enhance mobility.

Medical Massage Therapy

I have successfully passed a 100 hour training course and am officially Certified in Medical Massage Therapy. Medical massage is performed with the intent of improving conditions or pathologies that have been diagnosed by a physician; a wide variety of modalities or procedures are utilized to focus the treatment based on the diagnosed condition.

It involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation, and movement of the locomotor soft tissues to reduce or eliminate pain or dysfunction. A unique multidisciplinary approach is utilized to restore structural balance throughout the body, which allows focus on prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions, chronic pain and sports injuries. Primary modalities include functional assessment, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, scar tissue mobilization techniques, neuromuscular re-education, PNF stretching, strengthening, and specific client home-care protocols.

Symptoms of pain that sometimes show up in the body as posture distortation, hand and wrist pain, back pain, headaches, Migraines, Ear pain, TMJ, foot and ankle pain, frozen shoulder and unexplained pain.

Certified Integrative Reflexology will open the zone pathway for better circulation, stimulating the proprioceptors on the bottom of the feet to increase stimulation of the nerve endings, giving a calming effect to your whole body.

Benefits of Reflexology

A deeply, relaxing and therapeutic response. Increased digestive response and constipation relief. Sinus and drainage, wihile still in the session. Reduced muscular tension in neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, sciatic area and spine. Kidney Stones have been reported to pass with the stimulation of the kidney reflexes. Many clients report they are as relaxed as if they had a full body massage.

Trigger Point Therapy

Pressure is applied to “trigger points” to alleviate muscle pain.
